About us
We are three people with extensive experience in media and accessibility.
Ellinor Larsen, Production Manager: 25 years’ experience as a translator, subtitler, dubbing translator and language reviewer, as well as 12 years’ experience as an audio describer. Collaborates with both small and large media companies, internationally as well as in Sweden.
Jonas Hed, Customer Success Manager: 17 years’ experience as a CSM/Project Mangager, working with accessibility solutions for international customers.
Tomas Hörger, Technology Officer: Entrepreneur with over 15 years’ of CTO experience, specializing in accessibility and media production.

The Process
In order to translate the client’s podcast in the best way possible and make it as close to the original as possible, we need access to the original script and any soundtracks.
Step 1: Translation
We translate the script into the desired language and record it using professional voice actors that the client has approved.
Step 2: Production
Then, we produce the podcast. The whole production is approved by the client prior to publication. If the client is not happy with the result, the podcast is not published.
Step 3: Publishing
The client owns the rights to scripts and soundtracks, and we delete all original materials after production.

What materials do we need?
We need scripts and any soundtracks in order to make a recording as close to the original as possible.
We will sign a contract with the client and will of course not share the materials with anyone outside of the company.
All original materials will be erased as soon as the translation is done.
Who owns the rights to the translation?
We own the rights to the translated materials.
The client owns the rights to the original production.
The translation can be published in both our own and the client’s channels, as per our agreement.

Why should translation services be used to translate podcasts when e.g. Google and YouTube offer automatic translation and dubbing services?
There are many examples online of how automatic functions do not meet demands of high quality. We want to offer a service that not only increases accessibility for podcasts but also offers the same high-quality experience as the original podcast.
Lately, major players on YouTube have realized that their materials can be appreciated by a larger audience through high-quality localization. That is why e.g. Mr Beast has hired a professional media company to help dub his material into different European languages.

Why translate into Swedish and other Nordic languages, when Scandinavians are already so good at English?
Swedes are quite good at English in general, but not good enough that every Swede understands what is being said in a podcast and can catch every nuance of the language. And even if many Scandinavians are good at English, older and younger listeners do not have enough language skills to follow everything that is being said. Also, Swedes and other Scandinavians are mostly familiar with American English. They have more difficulty understanding different dialects and the English that is spoken in parts of Britain, Africa, India, Ireland, Australia, New Zeeland, etc.
Furthermore, Scandinavians are used to all media being translated. All TV shows and shows on streaming platforms are subtitled into the Nordic languages or dubbed for younger audiences. No visual media is left untranslated. This is also a question of accessibility.
With a good translation, you reach more listeners.
Why are there no examples of our podcasts on our website?
Because we are a start-up company.
Our pilot project is free for our clients, in exchange for the right to use their podcasts as examples on our website, so that future clients can follow the process and see the end result.
We can produce a small part of the client’s podcast to show an example before getting started.
What happens if the client is not satisfied with the result?
The client always has a right to listen to the finished podcast and ask for adjustments before it is published.
The client can also decline publication of the podcast if the quality does not meet expectations.
Our goal is to deliver high-quality translations that the client can be proud of.
